"The kids are Alright"

after watching the academy awards and hearing that this movie was up for best picture nomination i went and rented it. This movie had no business being compared to the other nominated movies. I do not know what message the movie wanted to give out. It was about a lesbian couple who had kids through a sperm donor... the sperm donor meets them and that was it... I DONT GET WHAT THE POINT WAS? they ended the movie with one of the girls going off to college. Come on Hollywood you can do better than that.
